Pharmaceutical Closure Integrity Testing

ATC, Inc. understands the complexity of leak testing your products, whether you're testing a sterility barrier, moisture barrier or general protection packaging, we offer nondestructive closure integrity test instruments as an alternative to current destructive methods. Blue dye testing is widely used within the pharmaceutical industry to perform sample testing. This method is destructive, operator dependent, and is time consuming.

Replace destructive dye testing with our patented micro-flow technology, which offers a more cost effective replacement to test your products using air with measurements similar to helium mass spectrometry levels. Our innovative instruments and systems are simple to use and operator independent, providing objective measurement results that are repeatable and reliable, ensuring that your products meet quality requirements.

Our micro-flow and Mass Extraction (ME2) products test for closure and seal integrity of sterile products. We are capable of testing for absolute sterility in product development and validation to detect pinholes of 0.2 micron and larger. Our instruments and systems can be used to perform audit testing in clean room environments. We can detect gas or liquid leakage from filled syringes, capsules, parenteral vials and more. Our Closure Integrity Test Systems are offered as in-line systems and/or sampling systems with manual or automatic parts loading.
