This is a simulation software to study the leak rate development signature of the test unit based on the user input information. Please input the following to your best knowledge and then click the START TEST button.

Leak Flow Rate refers to the expected leak rate of the unit the user wants to measure. The detectable leak range as low as several mm3/min and as high as tens of l/min.

CAUTION: Distinguish between standard flow (as std. cc/sec) to actual volumetric flow (as cc/sec).

Test pressure is the pressure the UUT(Unit Under Test) will expose during the leak test. If the test pressure is close to or lower than the ambient pressure, then the UUT shall be in vacuum condition. The vacuum level is depending on the application.
Vacuum application selection shall be based on the condition mentioned above.

If the Iso Valve is installed, then the volume of the inlet tank has to be properly eneter in order to calcualte the target measure leak. The measured leak will be different according to the inlet tank size.

Inlet tank volume refers to the volume of the expansion tank, located upstream of the IGLS sensor,acting as a constant supply of flow and eliminating unacceptable pressure fluctuations. If the isolating Valve is installed, then tank in recommneded to be at least 4-10 times larger than the size of the UUT(Unit Under Test)

UUT Volume refers to the size of the UUT(Unit Under Test). The IGLS measures leak flow directly, regardless of volumes. However, system overall performance, such as response time is volume depedent. Usually the smaller the UUT is, the faster it can be detected.

User can enter the desired test time. The simulation will calculate the simalated test time from the selected sensor(s).

CAUTION: Overall cycle time is the test time + fill delay time. This simulation does not include FILLL DELAY TIME, which is the time to pressurize the UUT to steady state condition. Fill delay is UUT dependent and can vary from 20% to 100% of the test time.

The user can select any individual sensor from the list or choose AUTOSELECT to let the simulation program to calculate all candidates and recommend the best solution.
